Terme Warmbad Villach

Warmbad Villach is Carinthia's most famous thermal spa, attached to the city of Villach in southern Austria, where bicarbonate and naturally radioactive (radon) spring waters have been used since Roman times and developed into a modern therapeutic resort in the most cosmopolitan region of Austria — a crossroads city where Austria meets Slovenia just 10 kilometres to the south and Italy just 30 kilometres to the west. The thermal waters of Warmbad, rising at 29 degrees Celsius from deep carbonate formations beneath the Drau valley, are used for musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and oncological supportive therapy in a resort that has earned international recognition for its radon therapy program.
