Chaudfontaine, a municipality on the Vesdre River near Liège in Belgium, is home to the country's only natural thermal spring, with water emerging at a constant 36.6°C — precisely matching normal human body temperature. The spring has been exploited since Roman times and became a fashionable spa resort in the eighteenth century, attracting European nobility to its warm oligomineral waters.
