Varshets Mineral Spa

Varshets Mineral Spa draws siliceous mineral springs in the town of Varshets in the Montana region of northwestern Bulgaria, set in the forested foothills of the western Balkan range where the spring water emerging from the granitic and gneissic basement carries a specific silica content, a feature appreciated within the Bulgarian thermal tradition that developed at the resort in the twentieth century.
