Aquahouse Spa Hisarya

Aquahouse Spa Hisarya is a modern wellness hotel spa in Hisarya, a spa town in the Plovdiv Province of Bulgaria whose mineral springs were used by the Roman emperor Diocletian and are among the oldest continuously therapeutically exploited springs in the Balkans. The bicarbonate mineral waters of Hisarya — classified as one of the finest natural mineral waters in Bulgaria — emerge at comfortable temperatures and are used both as a premium bottled water and in balneotherapy pool treatments for digestive, urinary, and musculoskeletal conditions. The town preserves substantial remains of its Roman spa infrastructure, including sections of the original Roman town walls (Hisar Kapia), colonnaded streets, and bath complexes that make Hisarya one of the most archaeologically interesting spa towns in southeastern Europe.
