Tucked in the Alberta Rockies, Miette Hot Springs flow out of the mountain at a scorching 54°C before being cooled to a comfortable 40°C for the pools — making them the hottest springs in the Canadian Rockies. Indigenous peoples first showed the site to fur traders in the 19th century, and in the 1910s the springs nearly became a grand hotel designed by architect Francis Rattenbury.
