Hainan Qixianling Hot Springs in the tropical heart of Hainan island — China's southernmost province, often called the Hawaii of China — are among the most popular thermal destinations in the country, drawing millions of domestic tourists annually to the island's geothermal springs, particularly in winter when mainland China freezes.
