Anshan Hot Springs

Anshan Hot Springs is a thermal resort located in Anshan, one of the major cities of Liaoning Province in China's northeastern region, historically the centre of the country's iron and steel industry. The geothermal resources here emerge from geological formations characteristic of the Liaodong Peninsula, providing a natural thermal infrastructure that has been developed into resort facilities offering genuine respite from the demanding climate of northeastern China.

The bicarbonate springs emerge at 40 °C with a mildly acidic pH of 6.9, producing water with a pleasant mineral warmth well-suited to the extended soaking traditions of northeastern Chinese bathing culture.
