Tongren Hot Springs

Tongren Hot Springs are geothermal springs in Tongren city in northeastern Guizhou Province, China, situated at the edge of the dramatic Wuling Mountain range where the karst limestone plateau of Guizhou descends toward the Hunan lowlands and bicarbonate thermal waters emerge from deep Triassic limestone formations in a landscape that harbors the globally significant Fanjingshan — a UNESCO World Heritage mountain that serves as the last refuge of the critically endangered Guizhou snub-nosed monkey.
