Yi Gong Zang Bu Wenquan is a naturally sulphurous geothermal spring in the Yigong Tsangpo river valley in the Tibetan Autonomous Region of China, where one of the most biologically diverse and spectacular gorge landscapes on earth meets the geothermal activity of the eastern Himalayan rim. The Yigong Tsangpo valley, a transition zone between the Tibetan Plateau and the subtropical forests of Arunachal Pradesh, is home to a remarkable concentration of plant and animal species and a landscape of extraordinary geological dynamism, including landslides, glacial lakes, and geothermal springs. The hot spring provides warm, naturally sulphurous mineral water in one of the world's most spectacular and biodiverse river gorge environments.
