Spot: Sylter Welle Westerland (Germany)
Sylt is the largest island of North Frisia. It stretches from east to west along the North Sea coast in Schleswig-Holstein and Denmark. It is above all the northernmost of the German islands, known for its seaside resorts of Westerland, Kampen and Wenningstedt, for the prevalence of nudism, and for its roughly 40-kilometre-long Weststrand (west beach).
