Jamanco Hot Springs near Papallacta in Ecuador's Napo Province are chloride-rich geothermal springs located in the spectacular high-Andes cloud forest zone east of Quito, where the Cordillera Real descends steeply toward the Amazon basin and volcanic geothermal activity produces numerous hot springs in a concentrated area.
