Alange is a small municipality in the province of Badajoz in Extremadura, Spain, home to one of the most remarkably preserved ancient Roman bath complexes in the Iberian Peninsula. The natural chloride thermal springs that feed the baths have been in continuous use since at least the 1st century AD, and the surviving Roman bathhouse — with its circular domed chambers and intact pool architecture — is a monument of extraordinary historical significance.
