Balneario de Solán de Cabras, in the dramatic limestone gorge country of the Serranía de Cuenca near Beteta in Castile-La Mancha, is one of Spain's oldest and most prestigious mineral water establishments, whose bicarbonate springs were first exploited commercially in 1773 under royal charter and whose Solán de Cabras mineral water brand remains one of the most distinguished in Spain, historically favoured by Spanish royalty and aristocracy.
