Soothing — neither hot nor cold, perfect balance.
Rich in active gases or metals — a strong mineral character.
Soft water — natural, classic buoyancy.
Burgas de Canedo is a natural sulphurous thermal spring in the Ourense province of Galicia, Spain, one of the numerous free-flowing hot spring sites that make Ourense Spain's most thermally active city, where hot water at around 40-65°C emerges from the Galician granite basement directly into riverside pools along the Miño river. The site, accessible to the public at no charge like most of Ourense's thermal springs, forms part of the network of municipal thermal bathing sites that are embedded in the daily life of Ourense's residents. The Galician thermal tradition — democratic, unspoiled, and deeply connected to the local landscape — is perfectly exemplified by these riverside springs accessible to all.
