Gargadi Hot Springs

Gargadi Hot Springs in Ethiopia's Guji Zone, Oromia Region, are oligomineral springs emerging in the southern Ethiopian highlands near the Kenya border in a region of the Oromia cultural heartland, where the Guji Oromo people maintain a rich tradition of territorial and environmental stewardship. The springs provide natural warm water resources for local communities and pastoralists in a landscape of montane grassland and Afromontane forest, embedded within one of Ethiopia's most culturally distinct regional identities.
