Thermes d'Enghien-les-Bains

Enghien-les-Bains is the only thermal resort in the Paris region, born from the 1766 discovery of its sulphurous spring by naturalist Louis Cotte. Just outside the capital, the town built its identity around this water, blending bourgeois leisure culture with a spa tradition spanning more than a century.

Since November 2018, the baths have been run by the ValVital group in partnership with the Barrière hotel group, owner of the neighbouring Grand Hôtel. The water, among the most sulphurous in France, now supplies a modern facility focused on respiratory wellness, steps from the Enghien lake.
