Insider tip — Termas del Sur occupies a forested site in the pre-cordillera of the Araucania Region at approximately 38.7°S, where Andean volcanic geology produces sulfurous thermal emissions. The facility positions itself as a southern Andean retreat, with pools nestled among lenga beech and coigue trees that create a sense of immersion in the Chilean wilderness. Water temperatures hover around 41°C. The relative remoteness compared to Pucon's tourist infrastructure gives this site a quieter, more local character.
