Baños Morales

Baños Morales is a natural thermal spring site in the Cajón del Maipo, a narrow Andean canyon southeast of Santiago in Chile's Región Metropolitana, located approximately 87 km from the capital at the confluence of the Morales and Volcán rivers where geothermally heated waters emerge from the volcanic and metamorphic geology of the high Andes at elevations that place the springs near the treeline of the cordillera. The Cajón del Maipo is one of Santiago's most accessible Andean wilderness corridors, offering trekking, climbing, and thermal bathing within a few hours of the capital in a landscape of jagged peaks, glaciers, and rushing clear rivers.
