Tucked into a green valley along the Kurşunlu stream just 6 km from the center of Salihli in Manisa province, these hot springs sit within the wider Gediz geothermal graben. Exploratory drilling began in 1976, and further wells sunk in 1992 confirmed a substantial hot-water flow that has since supplied the surrounding area.
The water carries a bicarbonate-sulfate composition rich in calcium and hydrogen sulfide, and the site earned official recognition as a Thermal Tourism Center from Turkey's Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2008. Sitting at 111 meters above sea level, it remains first and foremost a quiet natural retreat away from city life.
