Edipsos Loutra Thermal

Edipsos (Aidipsos) Loutra is Greece's oldest and most celebrated thermal spa resort, located on the northern tip of the island of Evia (Euboea) where hot sulphurous springs have been used since antiquity and were frequented by Aristotle, Sulla, and Hadrian, making it one of the most continuously patronised therapeutic sites in the ancient Mediterranean world. The bicarbonate and calcium-rich springs, emerging at temperatures between 35°C and 83°C directly on the seafront, feed a substantial resort infrastructure of historic hotel thermal baths and outdoor pools at the island's thermal spring promenade.
