Thermes de Gyula

Gyula is a spa city in the Bekes County of southeastern Hungary, on the border with Romania, whose chloride-rich thermal waters and the intact 15th-century Gyula Castle — the only surviving medieval brick fortress in the Hungarian Great Plain, which escaped destruction during the Ottoman occupation — make it a destination of unique thermal and historical importance in the flat Puszta landscape.
