Papa Thermal

Located in the town of Pápa in Veszprém County, in the rolling hills of western Hungary between the Bakony forest and Lake Balaton, Pápa Thermal is a gyógyfürdő — a Hungarian balneological establishment — that taps into thermal water rising at 40 °C from the deep geological strata beneath the Transdanubian hills. The town itself is historically rich, with a well-preserved baroque centre that adds architectural interest to any visit beyond the baths.

The water has a near-neutral pH of 7.3 and a broadly thermal character, warm and enveloping at immersion.
