Terme di Pre-Saint-Didier occupies a historic spa building in the narrow valley village of Pre-Saint-Didier, just five kilometres from Courmayeur and the Italian portal of the Mont-Blanc Tunnel, where bicarbonated mineral springs have been channelled into pools and baths since the nineteenth century. The modern thermal complex has been redesigned to offer indoor and outdoor pools at different temperatures, a waterfall cascade, and panoramic terraces facing the Dora di Verney torrent and the glaciated peaks of the Monte Bianco massif above. This combination of alpine grandeur and warm mineral immersion, with ski lifts a short drive away in winter, has made Pre-Saint-Didier one of the most scenically dramatic thermal destinations in the Italian Alps.

Insider tip — Pré-Saint-Didier is 5 km from Courmayeur — the Italian ski resort on the southern flank of Mont Blanc. The Mont Blanc tunnel links Courmayeur to Chamonix in 10 minutes. A thermal bath with a view of Mont Blanc after a day's skiing in Courmayeur is one of the finest ways to end a day in the Alps.
