Castel San Pietro Terme is a lively spa town in the Bolognese Apennine foothills of Emilia-Romagna, eastern Italy, developed around chloride bromo-iodic thermal waters discovered in the 19th century and celebrated for their thalassotherapy-like mineral richness.
