Terme dell'Aspio

Terme dell'Aspio is a natural sulphurous thermal spring site in the Marche region of central Italy, in the landscape of rolling Apennine foothills and Adriatic hinterland characteristic of this underexplored Italian region, where geothermal water from the Apennine basement provides a local therapeutic bathing resource. The Marche's thermal heritage, less celebrated than that of Tuscany or Campania but equally authentic, includes numerous small spring resorts and terme libere embedded in the charming landscape of hill towns, Verdicchio vineyards, and the Sibillini Mountains. The surrounding Marche countryside, with its extraordinary concentration of small artisan workshops, Renaissance hill towns, and the wild Monti Sibillini National Park, provides a deeply Italian rural context.
