Sarasa Onsen is a contemporary hot spring facility in Matsumoto city, the cultural capital of the Shinshu (Nagano Prefecture) highland region and home to Matsumoto Castle (Karasu-jo, the Black Crow Castle) — one of Japan's five National Treasure castles and the oldest surviving original wooden castle tower in the country.
