Yuriage Onsen is a coastal hot spring in the Yuriage area of Natori city, Miyagi Prefecture, situated near the Pacific Ocean coastline at the mouth of the Natori River south of Sendai — an area that was heavily impacted by the catastrophic 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, and has since undergone remarkable reconstruction and community resilience-building.
