Fureai Onsen Satuma

Fureai Onsen Satsuma is a community-oriented thermal facility in Satsuma city in Kagoshima Prefecture, southern Kyushu, where siliceous geothermal waters from the Satsuma volcanic belt — part of the extraordinarily active Kagoshima volcanic zone that includes the legendary Sakurajima island volcano — emerge to provide relaxing communal bathing in one of Japan's most geothermally active regions.
