Fugaku Group Fuji Hot Spring

Fugaku Group Fuji Hot Spring in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi prefecture, draws bicarbonate-rich geothermal waters at the northern base of Mount Fuji, where the sacred volcano — the most painted and photographed natural feature in the world — rises directly above the thermal pools and the World Heritage Fujisan Sengen Grand Shrine marks the traditional starting point of the Fuji climbing pilgrimage that millions of Japanese have undertaken for over a thousand years.
