Yonago Uomachi Onsen is located in the traditional Uomachi fish market district of Yonago city in Tottori Prefecture on the San'in coast of western Honshu, where chloride-rich thermal waters provide mineral bathing in the historic heart of a city at the foot of Mount Daisen—the sacred dormant stratovolcano whose geothermal activity underlies the San'in region's hot spring resources.
