Higashiura Spa Awaji is a coastal hot spring and wellness facility in Awaji City on Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, the largest island in the Seto Inland Sea and the island that, according to the creation myth of the Kojiki — Japan's oldest chronicle — was the very first island created by the deities Izanagi and Izanami, making Awaji cosmologically the birthplace of the Japanese archipelago itself.
