The Central Island Hot Springs are a remarkable geological feature of Central Island in Lake Turkana, Kenya's largest lake and the world's largest permanent desert lake, where chloride-rich thermal springs associated with active volcanic craters emerge in one of Africa's most remote and dramatic landscapes.
