Baños Termales La Calera in Chanchamayo province in the Junín region of Peru is a natural hot spring in the transition zone between the Andes and the Amazon basin (selva alta), where lightly mineral oligomineral geothermal water emerges from the jungle-covered slopes in a tropical mountain setting. The springs are accessible from La Merced, the commercial capital of the Chanchamayo valley, in a region known for its exceptional coffee, fruits, and the indigenous Asháninka and Nomatsiguenga communities.
