Termy Szaflary is a geothermal thermal complex in Szaflary in the Nowy Targ district of the Małopolska Voivodeship, situated in the Podhale highland basin at the foot of the Tatra Mountains where deep drilling has tapped into one of Poland's most productive and thermally intense geothermal formations. The sulphated mineral waters, drawn from Mesozoic carbonate formations at depths of several kilometres, emerge at temperatures making them ideal for both leisure and well-being bathing in a mountain foothill setting that shares the spectacular Tatra panorama characteristic of the broader Podhale region. The thermal complex serves as both a recreational destination for the local highland community and an increasingly popular wellness tourism site for visitors exploring the Tatra National Park and the historic Zakopane resort town nearby.
