Covasna Mineral Springs

Covasna Thermal Spa is a mineral spring wellness facility in Covasna, the county seat of Covasna County in the heart of the Szekely Land of eastern Transylvania, a region so extraordinarily rich in mineral spring resources that Covasna has earned the poetic title of the Town of a Thousand Springs, referring to the dozens of natural carbon dioxide-rich and ferruginous mineral springs that emerge from the volcanic geology of the eastern Carpathian basin in a concentration of geothermal mineral wealth matched nowhere else in Romania and perhaps anywhere in southeastern Europe.
