Rong Aroon Hot Spring is one of northern Thailand's most visited geothermal sites, located in San Kamphaeng district east of Chiang Mai city, where bicarbonate thermal waters emerge through fractures in the granite bedrock at temperatures above 100°C, creating a landscape of steaming pools, geysers, and bubbling mud caldrons set in a forested park.
