Fang Hot Spring Chiang Rai

Fang Hot Spring in the northern highlands of Chiang Mai Province is a geothermal area near the Myanmar border where bicarbonate thermal waters emerge at temperatures reaching nearly 100°C through dozens of vents and geysers in a landscape of forest and farmland. The springs' dramatic steaming vents and boiling pools are set within a national park area that also encompasses some of Thailand's most biodiverse mountain ecosystems, with Doi Pha Hom Pok — the country's second-highest peak — providing a magnificent highland backdrop. Lower-temperature pools in the facility allow visitors to enjoy therapeutic thermal bathing in the traditional Thai wellness style, surrounded by the pristine mountain scenery of the far north.
