Çermik Melike Belkıs Kaplıcaları is a thermal spring facility in Çermik, a town in the Diyarbakır province of southeastern Turkey, named after the legendary Queen of Sheba who in Turkish tradition is associated with the beauty and restorative qualities of water. The kaplıca draws on naturally warm mineral springs that have made the Çermik area a recognised thermal destination in the geothermal-rich landscape of Anatolia. Visitors come to experience the warm, mineral-rich waters in a region where thermal bathing has been enjoyed since ancient times, long predating the Ottoman hammam tradition that later shaped the bathing culture of this part of Turkey.
