Kanangorok Hot Springs is a significant geothermal site in the Karamoja region of northeastern Uganda near the Kenya border, where bicarbonate-rich thermal water emerges at high temperature from the East African Rift Valley's geological structures. The springs, forming an important local resource in a remote and traditionally pastoral landscape, are situated near the remarkable Moroto mountain massif in one of Uganda's least-visited and most culturally distinct regions.
