Dry Susie Hot Springs is a primitive natural hot spring in the remote Black Rock Desert region of Humboldt County, Nevada, where chloride- and silica-rich thermal water flows across the alkaline playa floor of one of North America's largest and most desolate dry lake beds. The springs are situated near the southern end of the famous Black Rock Desert, venue for the annual Burning Man festival, in a landscape of extreme aridity, volcanic geology, and vast empty horizons. The combination of thermal water, alkaline desert, and the extraordinary visual drama of the Black Rock playa makes Dry Susie one of Nevada's most atmospherically powerful wild hot spring experiences.
