Heise Hot Springs is a family-oriented natural hot spring resort near Ririe, Idaho, in the scenic Snake River Plain, where sulphurous spring water feeds an outdoor swimming pool, a hot soaking pool, and a water slide in a pleasant cottonwood-shaded riverside setting. The resort, one of Eastern Idaho's most popular, has served the surrounding farming communities and outdoor recreation visitors since the early 20th century. The nearby South Fork of the Snake River — one of the finest blue-ribbon trout streams in the American West — and the dramatic geology of the Eastern Snake River Plain volcanic province provide excellent complementary outdoor activities.
