Sespe Hot Springs is one of Southern California's most remote natural hot spring destinations, located in the heart of the Sespe Wilderness within Los Padres National Forest in Ventura County, accessible only by a challenging 17-mile round-trip hike or multi-day backpacking trip through spectacular southern California chaparral and canyon terrain. The springs, where geothermal and sulphurous water feeds natural pools alongside Sespe Creek, reward the considerable effort of the approach with a genuine wilderness hot spring experience in a landscape that is home to one of California's largest California condor populations.
