Building 18011/193 is a historic structure in Acre (Akko), a UNESCO World Heritage City on the northern Mediterranean coast of Israel renowned for its extraordinary concentration of Crusader, Mamluk, and Ottoman architecture. Acre's bathing heritage is anchored by the celebrated El-Basha Hammam complex, where Napoleon's soldiers are said to have bathed, but numerous supporting structures and neighbourhood baths served the city's diverse communities of Arab, Jewish, and European traders. The stone-vaulted buildings of Acre's old city, built over Crusader foundations and expanded under Ottoman governors, make this one of the most architecturally layered historic cities of the Levantine coast.
