Kada Awashima Onsen is a hot spring resort in the coastal Kada district of Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture, on the Kii Peninsula south of Osaka, associated with Awashima Island and its famous Awashima Shrine, a place of devotion where worshippers, particularly women, leave dolls and other objects as offerings.
