Amagase Onsen is a hot spring in Hita City, Oita Prefecture on Kyushu Island, situated along the Amagase Reservoir and Dam on the Chikugo River in the mountainous interior of the prefecture that holds the national record for the largest volume of hot spring water production in Japan.
