Isawa-Onsen Station is a railway station of the Chūō Main Line, East Japan Railway Company in the Isawa-Matsumoto neighborhood of the city of Fuefuki, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. It is also a freight terminal for the Japan Freight Railway Company.
Insider tip — Isawa Onsen in the Fuefuki region of Yamanashi is one of the prefecture's largest hot-spring resorts, set amid the famous peach and grape orchards of the Kofu basin — the heartland of Japanese wine and fruit production, with spectacular views of Mount Fuji. The springs serve a landscape of vineyards and orchards beneath Japan's most sacred mountain, in a region whose Koshu wine industry, fruit culture, and the towering presence of Fuji make it one of central Honshu's most scenic and productive valleys.
