Named after the celebrated grand vizier Sokullu Mehmet Paşa, this hammam embodies the architectural refinement characteristic of the classical Ottoman period, with its domed chambers and carefully proportioned spaces.

Insider tip — The Sokullu Mehmet Paşa Hammam in Lüleburgaz was designed by Mimar Sinan in 1569 for the great Grand Vizier Sokullu Mehmet Paşa — one of the most powerful statesmen in Ottoman history and Sinan's most generous patron. Their collaboration produced some of the greatest buildings of the 16th century.
