Fındıklı Baths

Fındıklı Baths is a historic Ottoman hammam in the Fındıklı neighborhood — 'fındıklı' meaning hazelnut or hazelnut grove — a name that recalls the nut gardens and orchards that once characterized this area of Istanbul before the city's expansion replaced them with the urban neighborhoods that now surround the remnants of the Ottoman waterfront architecture along the Bosphorus.
