The Fultan Baths are an Ottoman hammam in Kiğı District, Bingöl Province in the mountainous eastern Anatolia region of Turkey, a remote highland area historically inhabited by Kurdish and Armenian communities before the Ottoman administrative reorganization of the region. Bingöl Province sits at high altitude amid the headwaters of the Euphrates River system, and its Ottoman monuments are comparatively rare given the rugged terrain and sparse population of the district. The Fultan Baths represent the extension of Ottoman public bathing culture into the challenging landscapes of the far eastern Anatolian highlands.
