The Şirinoğlu Baths are an Ottoman hammam in Sivas, a major city in central Anatolia that served as an important provincial capital and caravan junction in the heart of the Anatolian plateau. Sivas is renowned for its extraordinary collection of Seljuk monuments including the Çifte Minareli Medrese and Gök Medrese, which rank among the finest examples of Anatolian Seljuk architecture, and its Ottoman hammams added later layers to this already magnificent built heritage. The Şirinoğlu Baths served the residents of Sivas as a center of daily hygiene and community sociability within one of Anatolia's most historically and architecturally distinguished cities.
